CFL Power Rankings – Week 1
1. Caliphs (1-0)
The former champs are still the champs. Samad’s return brought energy back to the squad, and even with Mean Machine pushing them to the edge, the Caliphs showed they still know how to close games out. Until somebody knocks them off, they stay at the top.
2. All Day (1-0)
No team made a louder statement in Week 1. Anas exploded onto the scene with 7 TD passes and Team All Day looked dangerous on both sides of the ball. If this offense keeps rolling, they may not stay at No. 2 for long.
3. Niners (1-0)
Moody and the defending champs looked confident as expected. The offense scored 45 points and MO continues to look like he was created in a football lab. A scary team when fully locked in.
4. Warriors (1-0)
A gritty Week 1 win earns the Warriors a top-four spot. They survived a nail-biter and showed toughness late in the game. Not flashy, but they know how to win close games.
5. Goonville (1-0)
A one-point win is still a win. Goonville showed heart and playmaking ability in crunch time. The question now is whether they can survive every week without giving their fans heart attacks.
6. Mean Machine (0-1)
The best 0-1 team in the league right now. They pushed the Caliphs to the limit and proved they belong in the contenderconversation. If the defense improves, nobody will want to see them later in the season.
7. Mamas Boys (0-1)
The record says 0-1, but the debut of their new D1 quarterback gave the league something to talk about. The talent is there — now they need to turn exciting moments into wins.
8. MPS (0-1)
Classic MPS. Competitive, entertaining, and one play away from victory before things somehow fall apart late. Still, they looked better than expected and could surprise teams this season.
9. Interceptors (0-1)
The effort was there, but too many mistakes and missed opportunities hurt them late against the Warriors. The talentexists, but consistency is still a major issue.
10. Hunters (0-1)
The defense had no answers in Week 1, giving up 46 points in a rough opener. The roster has talent, but the offense stalled too often when it mattered most.
11. Imaan (0-0)
No Week 1 game, so they stay near the bottom until we see them on the field. Still plenty of talent, but questions remain heading into their opener.
12. Pluto (0-0)
No action yet, but everyone knows Pluto can score points in a hurry when the young stars get rolling. For now, they stay at the bottom simply because they haven’t played yet.
