These two teams are heading in opposite directions. Imaan are hot, on a win streak and look like one of the teams to beat and a win here leads to first place. Caliphs had an impeccable start but have been on a downside ever since. Their offense has not missed a beat, ZQ is on point and can drop 40 every game. Defense has been the biggest problem. While they are scoring 40 they are allowing 50. Imaan made the championship just last season and this team knows how to make life difficult for their opponents. We think ZQ has a big game though and tries to get his team going before playoffs.

9:45 Botz vs Marine Park Squids
Both teams here are evenly matched. They are better than their records let on and play a lot of close games they have to learn to close out. Word out of CBL Retro is that Aqib had an injury that will keep him out of this game, a huge missing piece from this team on both ends of the ball. The Squids will hand the ball again to Rick and hope his veteran leadership can give them some momentum heading into the postseason. We think the Squids depth here will be the difference in the end and both these teams will play another close game.

11 Interceptors vs Niners
This is the game of the week. Niners win and they have a shot at first place. The Interceptors when they have their full team are one of the best squads in the league, some have said the team to beat. Faizan has proved a capable qb and they have numerous weapons including guys who can take the top off a defense in Sal and Fahad. The Niners have played the same way all season, they need to score 50 because they will allow 49. Moody has had some great games and some rough ones and he will need a good one here cause we expect a ton of scoring. Niners have a history of crumbling in big moments so we think they lose a barn burner.

12:15 Interceptors vs Marine Park Squids
The last game of the regular season is one that leans one way for sure. Two teams playing two games but one definitely has the talent advantage. Marine Park has had a great first season and has a long future here but Interceptors should run away with this one. They can score at will and we don’t think the Squids can quite keep up with that kind of firepower.
