CFL Week 7 Articles

Thursday, October 23, 2025 – Queens Village, NY

Slappy White is BACK for Week 7 — bringing truth, fire, and just the right amount of disrespect.

First off, a quick message to AZ and anyone else still wondering who Slappy White is:

KEEP GUESSING. You’ll never know! But one thing is certain — Slappy doesn’t tolerate garbage. And right now, that’s exactly
what the leaders of the CFL are serving up by letting Moody, AZ, and ZQ skate by with violations week after week. Shaking my wood!
Anyway, before we get to the previews and QB Rankings, let’s get into Power Rankings:

TEAM POWER RANKINGS (1–13)
13 – Ballers:
No attendance. No passion. No balls. Enough said.
12 – MPS:
The loveable squids can’t seem to hold it together when it matters most. Josh, hurry
back — they need you, brother.
11 – Pluto:
Got everything they wanted… except results. Shak’s still trying to make them effective.
Still waiting.
10 – Niners:
Cry to the Commish, bring the whole squad — and still get smoked every week. You’re
making AZ look like Deion Sanders out there. SMH.
9 – Mean Machine:
Maybe try being mean on the field instead of in the chats. Jay P., you alive?
8 – The Bots:
As always — the Bots love to lose. Still the most loveable losers in CFL history.
7 – Hunters:
Naj is Slappy’s Sportsman of the Year, no doubt. But the team’s gotta learn how to close
out games.
6 – Imaan:
As Fargo said, “No one plays for a tie.” And y’all call yourselves the champs? SMH.
5 – Interceptors:
Captain Adam keeps testing his luck with non-football players. How’d that go last week?
Scoring only six in a rivalry game? Yikes.
4 – Warriors:
Ezra might be the best thing to happen to the CFL. But even greatness needs more, Louis is
having an MVP type season but still not good enough to crack Slappy’s top 3.
3 – Mama’s Boys:
Great QB. Great receivers. But that defense? Questionable, at best.
2 – Bing Bong:
AZ gets what AZ wants — and right now, that’s wins. Team’s rolling.
1 – Phantoms:
Samad is Slappy’s MVP frontrunner, and that defense? Straight-up nasty. They’re the
team to beat.

Next up: Slappy’s QB rankings (1–6), and a few shots fired.
