8pm Bricklayers vs All Day
Moody and Farooq could not script this any better. Hyder’s missing piece, the player he thinks would have his team on top, Ferrukh is the one who can send him home this season. It is drama of the highest order. The truth is that this Bricklayers team should not need him to take down All Day, they are the more talented and just overall better team. Umer will be the best player on the floor and his supporting cast of David, Idrees and Atif should be a level above Aqib’s crew. Here is the wild card factor in this game, All Day has a weird record of being pesky in the f=playoffs. They were a missed wide open finger roll from taking down finalist Primetime last season and were a bucket from taking down A Team in their championship season. The way they win this game is getting a great shooting game from players like Jishan, Syed and Aqib while Tan and Ferrukh do the majority of the scoring. It could happen but we see them keeping it close but having the best player on the court ends up being the X factor.

9pm La Familia vs Phantoms
We just saw this game a couple of weeks ago and it was a classic. Phantoms had a huge late comeback to get a big win and it will show how close this game will be in the end. Moe Gunner has brought life to Yusuf’s team and this team made a surprise semi finals run last year and are going to try and do it again. Asif has come to a new level post break and is finally unlocking the potential he has shown. He is becoming a legit scorer and has always been a versatile defender. Phantoms are led by the dynamic backcourt duo, Hugo and Ridwan. They have moments when they cause absolute havoc on the floor with their speed and agility. Hugo made some huge free throws to seal the win last week and around them is one of the top shooters in the game in Nafi. The health of Uzair will be huge going up against the big front line of Yusuf and Saief. This should be a close game again but the script will flip.

10pm A Team vs Legend Killers
A battle of the Retro OG’s in Shah vs Zia. They have teams that are similar in build, focusing on going big with Humair and Talha for LK and Dev and Amrit for A Team. Talha and Dev are MVP candidates both showing they can be dominant at times but in different ways. Dev is a beast down low with a soft touch and a nose for rebounds. Talha is super versatile and can shoot over anyone on the floor. Legend Killers have great chemistry, Humair playing point form the center position often and Fahad and Zia being smart enough to get to the right spots on the floor. A Team may come down to which Amrit we get, we hear he can take over a game in a way we have not seen this season and if he decides to the A Team could run away with this one. Either way we like them to win this one in a great game to start round one.
