Draft Recap:
Best 1st round pick: Tayeb or Talha S

Hard to pick between these 2 guys but I think they are clearly the 2 best players in this round. Tayeb will come in and immediately be the best big man in the league while also being a top 3 player. Talha has some of the best intangibles in the league while also being one of the highest IQ guys. Tough choice between these 2 but I would slightly lean Tayeb because he can more likely win you a game scoring a bunch
Best 2nd round pick: Imran or Josh
Again, both are great options who will be relied on by their team to do completely different tasks. Imran was the MVP runner up last year and will continue to come in and play his CP3 brand of basketball. On the other side, Josh will be a great big who will dominate on the glass be the primary big for Moody
Best 3rd round pick: Gurk
Potentially the best player in the draft, Gurk is a 3 level scorer who can do it all. Rumors are he is coming off a major knee injury so we will see what kind of level he is when the games start.
Best 4th round pick: Mohsin
A great all-around player who went much later than I would’ve anticipated.
Best 5th round pick: Dawood
Admittedly, I don’t know some of the players in this round, but I know Dawood has great energy and can win a team a game with his hustle
Best 6th round pick: Zia
Old reliable Zia is always going to give you rebounding, shooting, and leadership
Best last round pick: Zian
Crazy player to go in the last round but rumors are attendance will be an issue so let’s see how it goes.

Team Draft Grades:
Farooq – Last time I gave Farooq’s team a “C+” grade and they made it to the finals (they said I gave them a lot of motivation!). Here is some more motivation for you guys: B-. This team has great guards, but lack of depth and size will be an issue. Team Grade: C+
Moody
– Being the commish must be great! Moody draft picks this time: potentially the best shooter in the league, one of the best big men, and potentially the OVERALL best player in the league. Bravo! The only issue can be that this team is lacking a viable playmaker to get all these great players the ball. Team Grade: A-
Hyder Not a bad draft at all. This team will rely heavily on their defense as they don’t have any go-to scorers. They will rely heavily on Talha to dictate the pace and guide this team. Team Grade: B
Yusuf
Last time Yusuf picked a team, I was not a huge fan on his team (turns out I was right). This time, he did a fantastic job. He was able to (somehow?) draft potentially the best player in the draft in Tayeb. He followed that up with some great follow up picks by drafting a great PG (Ridwan), a great shooting big (Ibby), and solid role players. This team has a lot of shooting and a lot of size. They aren’t the fastest, but in retro, you can get away with being a slow-paced team if you are smart and luckily for them, Tayeb is one of the highest IQ guys in the league. Team Grade: A
Jibar
Is it just me or is this the Knights with a rebrand? Hassan, Amged, Ali, and Mohsin have been the core of the knights for years. And safe to say, they produce great results with a chip to show for it. The team has one glaring issue: a lack of size. However, these 4 horsemen should be able to carry the team. Team Grade: B+
Aadil *He is one of my favorite players in the league, but I’m not sure if I love this drafted team. Ali Ladak looked to be a shell of himself by the end of the season so hopefully, he is feeling better physically because he will have to do a lot of heavy lifting for this team. Hugo is supremely talented, but his basketball IQ has not quite up to his talent yet. Yahya and Ali are both good role players, but they will both need to be more consistent for this team to succeed. *Team Grade: C-
Hassib
I’m not sure how to feel about this team. On the one hand, they have a great guard tandem of Samad and Ruhel. Hassib is one of the best bigs in the league, but he needs to be in better shape because he will have to play 40 mins a game this season. They will also need Umair to relied on as a do-it-all guy whereas he was just a scorer last season for A-team. As for the rest of the team, I’m not sure about who a couple of them are but one thing is true: they will have to produce for this team to succeed. Team Grade: B
Dev
Dev decided to go down the twin towers route by drafting Riz for his first pick. Those 2 will need to do a lot of heavy lifting because Isa is the only other that can be relied on to score. They are severely lacking a playmaker, and I believe they are hoping new league member Mohamed G will be that guy. Team Grade: D+
Amrit One of CBL’s favorite teams is back: OWEN10! This proud franchise has been away for a while, but they make a comeback led by Amrit, who did not play as well in the system he was playing in last season but who I believe will have a resurgence with a team he is more comfortable with. He also drafted a great squad: two great bigs (Brandon and Dully), and 2 scoring guards Sy and Zamer. They also have a microwave scorer on the bench with Zian. The x-factor for this team will be Zamer, who is very talented but is still learning the game and needs to know when to score and when to pass up for better shots for his teammates. Team Grade: A
UmerWe will call this team the Flushing squad. Led by last season Umer Saleem, this team always had a shot to be a contender if he continues his high-level play from last season. As is the case with a lot of the teams, this team lacks size as Talha Hashmi might be their biggest player. However, this team has a lot of DOGS with Umer, Mohamin, and Danial so I see them being competitive every week. Team Grade: B

Final Season Predictions:
