MVP Rankings
1) Tosin - La Familia
La Familia stumbled out of the gate but have now won four straight games and this guy is the engine that drives the team. Leading the league in scoring at 19 a game he is also a great passer, averaging almost 6 assists. His three pointer is deadly and he has a tendency to nail them in big moments. His defense one on one is just ok but he is great at reading the passing lanes and getting steals. He has a very all around game and right now is the clear number one in this MVP race.
2) Amrit - Tigers
Would Amrit be number one if he was the leader of his own team, maybe. Instead the commissioner did his old Astoria buddies a favor and let him play with Sy and Ruhel, themselves candidates for the top award. Even with that Amrit is having a great season averaging 17 points, 8 rebounds and 3 stocks a game. He made sure when they played Primetime in a battle for the one seed to put up a big game and let Moody know it.
3) David/Ferrukh - Bricklayers
This is an odd way to list these guys but their stats are eerily similar. They both average 15 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists a game. This Bricklayer team is loaded, Hyder's weird control over the Commish is still intact clearly. If Bricklayers can stay around as a top seed these guys will be the ones who lead that surge. Which one can separate themself as the top dog on the team will be the next question.
Honorable Mentions
Talha - All Day
As usual the individual numbers are fantastic. The thing holding him back is team success, which is not all on him but will factor in regardless.
Ali - Primetime
They are in the middle of a skid here but the OG is having a great season. Leading his team is scoring and is the most consistent offensive threat for a top half team.
Hugo - Phantoms
Hugo is having a great season for a rising Phantoms squad. He is a big time scorer and has been known to make clutch shots. Tayeb is always going to be seen as the focal point so can the second guy on a team be MVP, unsure.
