Playoff Previews
8pm Tigers vs Knights
It’s very rare we get a preview of a playoff game so shortly before the playoffs. These teams faced off just a couple weeks ago in an intense game that came down to the end and got heated. Tigers went down in a rare loss in a game where the Knights played great defense and Hassan showed why he’s a top player in the league filling up the stat page. This however is a team that has its third star back in Ruhel and made a dominant statement taking down La Familia last week. Unless captain Mohsin found a secret strategy this should be an easy one for the Tigers on their start to a chip run.

9pm Primetime vs Legend Killers
Moody’s team playing an Umer led team in the first round of the playoffs. That was bad news for them last season. This years iteration hasn’t been as good as last years Primetime squad having lost three out of four games coming into the playoffs. Legend Killers on the other hand have found their groove and believe it or not on a team with a former MVP and Talha It has been Danyel Rana leading the charge. If he keeps up his hot shooting it will be tough to stop all the players they can throw at you. The Ladak boys will do their best to keep the scoring up and if Aadil can find his shooting from last season this should be a classic. We expect a tough game that may get feisty and comes down to the final seconds. Primetime goes down in round one again however.

10pm Imaan vs Phantoms
Imaan has had a great season. A mostly veteran roster full of long athletes who know how to play ball. They just dismantled Primetime and got the second seed. Umair is playing great and his new running mate Moe is a great addition. The Phantoms are struggling right now, after the initial Tayeb bump they have struggled in the last few games. Against this big front line him, Umair and Haseeb may all need to play heavy minutes. Something Tayeb has been hesitant to do is be a big scorer here but he may have to if he wants to pull the upset of Faiq and Devs squad. We are not sure they can get it done.

11pm Bricklayers vs La Familia
A nightcap for the playoffs, our favorite. Hyder’s team has been rolling at full strength this year. The backcourt of David and Ferrukh has been amazing. David is a legit MVP candidate, he’s a great scorer and can facilitate. The front line is solid too with Arvin and Hassan being big bodies down low who get extra possessions and are really smart high iq players. Add in a vet like Atif and you have the clear dark horse finals contender. La Familia got humbled last week plain and simple, the Tigers punched them in the mouth and instead of fighting back they laid down. Will the motivation of winning this game means they get their rematch be enough to get them this win. Tosin himself is an MVP candidate but we weren’t even sure if he was in the gym for the biggest game of the year last week. If he bounces back and guys like Rahat and Ibby can knock down shots they have a chance. Can captain Yusuf make it happen, we will see but we don’t think so.
