Through 5 weeks of play, it has been an up and down season so far as the top tries to separate itself form the bottom. Lets take a look!
1) Monstarz - 3-0, closes games out properly, and role players step up when it matters (shout out Qasam and Zabi)!
2) Warriors - 3-0 Another undefeated team. Big win against the Medina Mavericks to prove themselves. Rabhir making his presence known and it allows Josh and Shamikh to be aggressive knowing they have him with them.
3) Cease Fire - Dominant team, dominant players, and we havent seen Darwin get unlocked yet. This may be the team to avoid in the playoffs.
4) Gaza - Nas, Ira, and JB are 3 overall great 2 way players. Combine that with khalil hamza and Ibrahim and they can shoot themselves into every game while steve and JB lock up on the other end. Great win this week.
5) Caliphs - Still 1-2 and had 2 byes in a row. Not much to say, hope they can go on a win streak to show who they truly are.
6) Medina Mavericks - On paper they are beyond talented, but with some injuries and some misfortune they are down to 1-3. The loss against rival Shamikh and the warriors stung, but they need to get it together before playoffs roll around.
7) Halal Hoops - Haroon is doing his best to rally the troops to w's, but he needs some help. Who can provide it for him moving forward?
8) Team Name - Same issue all year. Attendance. If they show up, they are the best team in the league.
