Week 8 CFL Previews
10am Botz vs Niners
This game was a thriller last time out. Captain Moody was incredulous saying “anyone but Aqib, are you serious.” Aqib tore them apart last time and Syed threw many tds against this Niners squad who started the season well and is on a downswing. We expect a similar game to last time, expect big plays from Ruhel and lots of scoring from the bots. In the end their defense is a little better.

11am Niners vs Imaan **
This game was a bloodbath the first time out. Imaan could not stop the Niners no matter who was at qb. Imaan has seemingly improved since then with Faiq adding some players who bring some spark to this offense. The Niners will be pissed about the first loss though and take it out on imaan here scoring at will.

11am Botz vs Every Other
Bots are just playing the second of games where the first go around was great. They had a chance to upset the Shak led team who was aided by some favorable reffing weeks ago and look for revenge here. We are not sure who is showing up for every other this week but Botz have been clicking lately and we think they will be a team to watch out for come playoff time.

12pm Niners Pluto
Moodys team finally had most of their players and were on time their last game and what happened. They lost. So we will see what this team is made of this week taking on a dangerous Pluto squad. Jordan is a problem anywhere on the field and Toheed has been one of the most consistent WRs for the season. Knowing the Niners they will be missing one big player this week and that may hurt them or they may ride up to the occasion. We do know both these teams defenses are atrocious so whoever wins it will be cause they managed to get a stop.

12pm Powerpuffs vs Caliphs
Is AZ the antidote to the mighty powerpuff squad? His team full of stars may have the talent to take them down with Will and the Pooran boys but can that take over the chemistry Sims and his guys have on the field. We don’t think so. Powerpuff is the class of the league this season and it will continue this week.

1pm Every Other vs Interceptors
The inside scoop on this game tells me that a lot of the Interceptors will be coming straight from a softball championship. On the other hand a lot of every other will be playing their third game in a row. This one we think gets ugly and we will give the edge to the younger team who will have more stamina to deal with the long day.

1pm Powerpuff Ballers
Oh what a difference a season makes. The Ballers will need a miracle run to get back to the chip this season and when your team is performing that way the Powerpuff boys are the last matchup you want to be facing. It’s possible Usman rallies the guys and Umair has a return to MVP form but we think this is a cruise game for the Powerpuff squad.
